TYPE OF DECK: Based on the Visconti styled decks, which are the earliest decks we have available.
ARTISTIC STYLE: circa 15th century, for the Major Arcana. Comic book for the Minor cards.
DECK BOOKLET: The booklet gives very detailed explanations for each of the cards. I would have liked some background on the type of decks this one was based on. The section on the Minor Arcana says there are 22 minor cards. Not to worry, it does give explanations for the full 56 minor cards. (47 pages).
BOOK: No book, I know of, associated with this deck.
SHUFFLE-ABILITY: Slightly long, but can still be shuffled easily. (7.2 x 13.2 cm)
QUALITY OF PRINTING: High quality printing with a plastic coating.
ADDITIONAL SYMBOL SYSTEM: Uses biblical imagery and some personal symbols which may be a bit obscure. Some symbols seem to have been picked up here and there from other decks.
ACCESSORIES / PACKAGE: "Flap type box" which may have needed a stronger glue on the edges (mine began coming apart, with little use, fairly quickly).
BEST POINTS: Medieval style, for the Major Arcana, which has been made clearer for the modern eye.
WORST POINTS: The pip cards seem rapidly executed and not in keeping with the style of the Major Arcana.
REVIEWER'S COMMENTS: The deck seems to be too disjointed for my taste. The Major and Minor cards should be in different decks judging from the styles.
