Boniface's Tarot Deck Review of

TYPE OF DECK: Based on the "traditional" style deck.
ARTISTIC STYLE: Colorful, but very simplistic drawings. Reminiscent of coloring books.
DECK BOOKLET: 146 pages. The largest booklet I've ever seen packed in a deck of cards, although only 73 pages are in English. The other half is in French.
BOOK: None that I know of, although you could always buy DUNCAN'S RITUAL about Freemasonry and try to figure things out.
SHUFFLE-ABILITY: Almost impossible to shuffle; I can only shuffle them by holding them sideways (7.5 X 15 cm).
QUALITY OF PRINTING: Excellent printing quality with a good protective coating; brilliant colors.
ADDITIONAL SYMBOL SYSTEM: The system of Freemasonry, as the name of the deck says, is added to the symbology of the traditional Tarot. This makes it difficult, for the average person, to understand all the symbols on any particular card. There is also a little Kabbala, astrology, and alchemy in some of the designs.
ACCESSORIES / PACKAGE: The cards come in a flap type box that has no protective coating. The glue holding the box together comes apart easily.
BEST POINTS: Very new and creative cards with a very good overall look, coupled with a system of symbology which is truly ancient and esoteric.
WORST POINTS: Unless you're a Freemason, you're just not going to understand this deck.
REVIEWER'S COMMENTS: I like the deck for its uniqueness and because I'm a Freemason and collect Tarot decks, otherwise I'd stay away from this deck.
