TYPE OF DECK: New Age deck based loosely on the Waite deck.

ARTISTIC STYLE: The original artwork for the cards were tapestries sewned together from pieces of lace and patterned cloth combined with realistic images.

DECK BOOKLET: The deck I bought came in a set with a hardcover book. The deck is now available without the book, but I have no idea of what the booklet is like, with that deck.

BOOK: The book is a very nicely illustrated, done with interpretations for each of the cards. It gives information on how to read the cards and explains a few spreads. Not much else though. A ribbon is sewn into the binding of the book, as a bookmarker.

SHUFFLE-ABILITY: The cards are a bit difficult to shuffle because of their length. (7.6 X 13.8 cm)

QUALITY OF PRINTING: The printing of the deck is excellent. Although I would have preferred a little heavier coating on the cards to protect them. You can feel the fiber of the cardboard and so they tend to get dirty quick.

ADDITIONAL SYMBOL SYSTEM: No additional symbol systems were used; strictly Tarot, which I like quite a lot.

ACCESSORIES / PACKAGE: The box, the cards and book came in, was not very good. If you get this deck, at least the boxed set, expect to find something else to keep the cards in.

BEST POINTS: Beautiful artwork. I have to say this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing decks I've come across. I would love some day to see the actual tapestries.

WORST POINTS: The packaging the set came in. That's not too bad when you consider the deck overall.

REVIEWER'S COMMENTS: I've used this deck to read with, to teach with, and simply to meditate on. Even though it had a couple of minuses, I would buy it again in a second.
