TYPE OF DECK: Modeled on the Rider-Waite Deck. The cards have an entirely different look from the Waite deck though, because of the artistic style.
ARTISTIC STYLE: Art nouveau.
DECK BOOKLET: Not really a booklet, more a "leaflet" or "flyer."
BOOK: There are two books associated with this deck, according to the deck leaflet. First, THE WINDOWS OF TAROT by F.D. Graves. Second, TAROT AND YOU by Richard Roberts.
SHUFFLE-ABILITY: Fairly easy size to shuffle. (7.5 x 11.75 cm)
QUALITY OF PRINTING: Good quality printing, but the cards are not coated, so they can become dirty and worn very easily.
ADDITIONAL SYMBOL SYSTEM: No additional symbols added to the images.
ACCESSORIES / PACKAGE: Box opens like a case; sturdy, protects cards well.
BEST POINTS: Beautiful artwork, very nicely done; an important point if you intend to look at the cards for any length of time, as in giving readings.
WORST POINTS: Tends to focus more on a portrait style composition and so leaves out many of the more traditional settings, which do have symbolic value.
REVIEWER'S COMMENTS: Although a beautiful deck, its use of symbolism does border on the sparse side and therefore makes it a little more difficult to use in a divination. I personally prefer a setting or context for the figures, which enables me to give a fuller reading, and this deck lacks that.
