Eastern Kingdom
In the Lycian Tradition the eastern quadrant is considered a place of new light and new life. The sun moves from east to west, therefore symbolically pointing out this fact by entering our consciousness from the east. It is from Mother Earth the sun and moon, are born in the east and so we associate the quadrant with the element of earth.
