Press Release No. 2: BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE LYCIAN TRADITION. This press release explains the spiritual principles and beliefs of the Lycian Tradition of Wicca. These are the principles that all of our rites and rituals are based upon. |
Press Release No. 3: THE FLAG FOLDING CEREMONY As patriotic citizens of the United States of America, Pagans and members of other minority religions often feel excluded from certain ceremonies conducted by the military and other government bodies. Although the U.S. government is NOT suppose to endorse any particular religion it does so when specific references are made to strictly Judeo-Christian beliefs as in the Flag Folding Ceremony. Therefore we have rewritten the ceremony to be inclusive of all religions by adhering to the words and intentions of our founding fathers. For example, the use of the wording "Nature and Nature's God" which comes directly from the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America and does not endorse any one religion's view of the divine.
