How the Deities Fit the Appendages
of the Human Body

The head is what governs the body. The overall intentions of the body are set by the head and so, to it are assigned the Deities as ruling planets. (The Planetary Deities.)
The right hand is the controlling hand. Therefore, it is considered the hand of authority and to it are assigned the Deities that lead. (The Authoritarian Deities.) The left hand is the hand which lacks control and so, the Deities that rule over the forces of Nature beyond our control are assigned here. (The Uncontrolled Deities.)

 

The right leg is the strongest appendage and so here are the Deities which rule over the ancient Pagan virtues. They are the "strengths" upon which we stand; our foundations. (The Virtuous Deities.) .................... The left leg is the leg that adjusts the "attitude" of the body; that is, how much it is inclined. These words: "attitude" and "inclined" are both associated with a person's humour. It is to this leg that the Deities ruling the humours are assigned. (The Humour Deities.)
