The Lame God...........The Green Man..........The Divine Fool

This God is the God of life. It is the life force in all things. The natural impulses are the tools of this deity. The passions experienced from a naive spontaneous impetous are his domain.

Calling him the Lame God is a reference to the fact that he will eventually die, as all life dies. The lameness is a mark placed on him as a symbol of his ultimate sacrifice.

Calling him the Green Man is a reference to the fact that he is living and growing within every living creature. He is the life force itself.

Calling him the Divine Fool is a reference to the idea that all living creatures live in a constant state of ignorance; that is the ignorance which is the not knowing what will be occuring the next minute, hour, day or what is around the next corner. The Divine Fool is all of us living the best we can with the knowledge which we possess, however meager that may be.
